In 1991 the World Health Organisation In Geneva invited 40 of the world's experts in the field of ear acupuncture in Lyons for a working committee to formalize a new system of nomenclature of ear acupuncture points.

Dr Maudarbocus had the privilege of being selected in that distinguished group among 40 of the world's top experts/researchers/practitioners from several countries including China ,Korea, Japan ,Europe, Australia and USA.
